Oscur J. Grimm

Oscur was born Feb 24, 1880 in West Virginia, and he died Dec 9, 1940. He is buried in the Graham Cemetery in New Haven , WV. His grave marker lists his name as Oscar L. Grimm.
Oscur married Ruby Olive Robinson. She preferred to go by her middle name Olive. She was born May 28, 1887 and died May 28, 1961.
Many of the Grimms were good athletes. Oscur played baseball in local leagues with his brothers Harry, Otto, and Ralph. He later managed the teams as well.

Myrtie E. Grimm

Myrtie was born Apr 11, 1882 in Mason Co., West Virginia. It is not known when she died or where she is buried.
Myrtie married Herbert W. Wilson Oct 15,1900. Herbert was born in 1881 and died Nov 14, 1903. He is buried in the Parsons-Shawver Cemetery, New Haven, West Virginia. Myrtie remarried LaRue Pott.

Charley W. Grimm

Charley was born Mar 12, 1884 in Mason Co., West Virginia. He died March 13, 1913.
Charley married Daisy Rowe of Adamstown, WV in July, 1903.

George Conardy Grimm

George was born Jun 15, 1886, and he died Dec 19, 1954. He is buried in the Parson-Shawver Cemetery, New Haven, West Virginia, with his father, William, his grandparents and great-grandparents.
George never married.
George was nicknamed Buck, and like all Grimms, he loved dogs. He was a veteran of World War I.

Affie Grimm

Affie was born Nov 8, 1888 in Mason Co., West Virginia. It is not known when she died or where she is buried.
Affie married Charles Hessen on Sept 26, 1913. They resided in Parkersburg, WV.

Harry Claude Grimm

Harry was born Aug 15, 1892, and he died of uremic poisoning Jan 24, 1968 in Mason Co.,West Virginia. He is buried in Graham Cemetery, New Haven, West Virginia next to his mother, Carrie Vickers Grimm.
Harry was married twice. His first wife was Urania Pierce Metcalf whom he married Feb 9, 1916 in New Haven, West Virginia. Urania, known as Rena, was born May 18, 1898 in Mason Co., West Virginia and died March 26, 1965 in Tiffin, Ohio. She is buried in Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin, Ohio, next to her eldest son, Joe, and her granddaughter, Claudia. Harry and Rena were divorced in the early 1930's. Harry's second wife was Lillian Ross Rayburn, to whom he remained married until his death.
Family tradition holds that while a boy he survived a bout of pneumonia due to the liberal administration of Gookenheimer Whiskey, and afterwards he was referred to as Gook. One of his first jobs was in the coal fields of West Virginia, when he was 12 years old. Most of his adult life he worked as a barber.

Ellen Frances dau

Otto Grimm

Otto was born Nov 14, 1894 in New Haven, West Virginia, and he died Jan 11, 1977 in Owensboro, KY. He is buried in the Graham Cemetery, New Haven, WV.
Otto married Agnes Layne Mar 25, 1923. Agnes was born Dec 6, 1897 and died Nov 16, 1976. She is also buried in Graham Cemetery, New Have, WV.
Otto played local league baseball with his brothers Oscur, Harry and Ralph. He also played in the coal fields of West Virginia, and semi-professional baseball in Salisbury, MD.

Ralph Grimm

Ralph was born Jun 8, 1897 in New Haven, West Virginia. He died in Nov, 1970 in Parkersburg, WV.
Ralph was married to Maude. Her maiden name is not known.
Ralph played local league baseball with his brothers Oscur, Harry and Otto.
